Day-by-day itinerary
Arrive at Minangkabau Airport and consider a short Padang orientation around the waterfront or old-town area, depending on arrival time. Continue to the confirmed overnight base.
Travel toward Bukittinggi with a proposed stop at Anai Valley waterfall and, where feasible, Pandai Sikek village. Check-in and all transport arrangements require confirmation.
Choose a practical highland day: explore Jam Gadang, Sianok Canyon and nearby heritage, or make a longer excursion to Harau Valley or Lake Maninjau via Kelok 44. Site choice depends on current road times and access.
Return toward Padang and visit a selected city or coastal sight if the flight schedule permits, then transfer to the airport.
